Why We Post

Posting has become a pastime for many, a voice for others and a source of news and opinion that is uniquely self-centering.

All of us have something that we would like to say. A blog provides that platform and to a large extent, a void is filled with respect to the information. If you have ever been to an event or incident that you personally witnessed it is very interesting to read or hear the report of what occurred via another person observation. I sometimes wonder if I was at the same event. Some call that reporting the news, but for the most part it is nothing more than an editorial and one person’s opinion. Gone are the days when editorials were limited to that one page by the same name. The reporting today is a fusion of fact and opinion. On too many occasions the opinion overpowers the facts. I have come to the conclusion that those who confuse the two either on purpose or design are wrong about the intelligence and common sense of the greater public’s ability to see through their schemes. There are principles that we should all hold ourselves too. Be true to thyself and love thy neighbor as you love yourself.
